I like the idea of multi versions of the WW1 aircraft. It could be a problem, though. It could fast become a black hole as no two German aircraft were painted the same. Each pilot individualized his aircraft within squadron parameters. Picking a famous aces aircraft is one way to do it. But whose? Literally dozens to chose from. The Red Baron's is a given (which version of that? His death craft 425/17, for sure). How about brother Lothar's, with it's yellow accents? I would like to see Voss and Baumer done. There are just so many. Great problem to face. One could collect nothing but the Fokker Triplane because there are so many versions. Will be fun. -- AlI will have some photos going up over next few days to include closeups of some of the Ticond figures.
But for some food for thought:
-Republican vehicles (like armored cars)
-3 painted versions of the Camel and the Tri wing
-German Hanger tents and French Taxis bringing allied pilots to the planes
Has your interest been peaked.........is this truely the "Golden Age" of toy soldiers??..........YOU BETCHA!!!!, and with John just hitting his stride, the best is yet to come.
Stay tuned
