Dear All

We thought you might all like to see a project of ours underway at the moment, 5 x 1/32 scale JU52 with clear canopy in production at the moment.

More pictures and details to follow soon!

Very impressive . This will be a mighty great looking plane
guy:smile2:

Appreciate the in process pictures, always wondered how much of the planes were wood versus other materials and how they look in different stages. This will be one impressive looking plane when done. Chris

Out of curiosity, why 1/32 scale?

It does look neat to see the WIP.

There won't be too much difference in overall size compared to 1/30 scale and the factory we are using for this project are more used to working in 1/32 scale.
Most of the K&C big warbirds are 1/32 scale and their figures look fine next to their planes so I don't think its going to be an issue for our customers.
Glad you like what you have seen so far.
Best wishes Vicki

Got it. Thanks for the answer.

Honestly, except for the smallest subjects (like a 109) or those with very short landing gear (like a Spit), it's not that big a deal. 1/32 models of large, single-engine types (like a P-47 or a Hellcat) show well with 1/30 figures. I know that may not satisfy scale fanatics, but that's my opinion, nonetheless.

Front wheels look like plastic ?

Funny, I was thinking that the tail wheel looks like resin! Did you notice how much weight is going to be born by the main-landing-gear struts? I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't reinforced with metal. In fact, I'd be reassured were that the case. Painted, that Junkers is going to be quite heavy!

I prefer "scale sensitive" :tongue::p

As I have lobbied often for the JU52, extremely pleased.. now I just have to wait for the Stalingrad version.

It'll certainly look good in the "Where Eagles Dare" diorama. Look good for Belgium, Crete Invasion, Russian Front resupply and General German Paras.

It will be one used at Crete Carlo

I am genuinely excited about this announcement and can't wait to see the final product.

The invasion & defence of Crete is one of those battles that has largely been over-looked by many manufacturers.

Were the New Zealanders there? {sm4}

I hope the Ju 52 will look a bit like in this picture as far as fuselage detail is concerned
