Judt Bought New 3D buildings - Roman Barracks and RAF Control Tower (1 Viewer)

I got these two 3D building through yesterday, i am very very happy with them,

Roman Barracks - really impressive and will look to use in a dio with the barracks being the closest to a Roman fort defensive wall, will look to build the wall, a corner, possibly with a watch tower. Medium term idea. Figures are Thomas Gunn.

RAF Control Tower - picture is with K & C Spitfire and figure, for scale, i am looking at using this with a TG Lancaster or possible a Sterling. Once more medium to term project.

The Cat even likes them, started setting them up and then went to make a brew and came back to the cat and her 'inspection'. By the way the Cat self-identifies as a Princess and demands to be treated as a Princess.

They are both great looking buildings, congrats! I need to order a few more 3d structures. I'm going to review my want list and get moving on that, so thanks for the reminder. I'm also happy to see your cat likes them too! It's funny how some cats are such intense inspectors. If anything new comes in the house they are literally right on it! lol It does show the sturdiness of this buildings. I have a cat the self-identifies as a princess too and she is very demanding as well! :smile2:

Where did you buy these 3D structures? Shapeways? Squidworks?

Paul Bell designed the Roman Barracks from a few photos and suggestions from me of what I wanted to fit in look wise with JJD's Roman Fort.
He also does a lot of buildings too from various eras using other 3D designs that he purchases in order to print and sell.

I would be tempted to say that the Roman barracks, due to its functional design could be part of many other period dioramas....And not just Roman...Western, Medieval Europe even WW1/WW2....
