July 20th 1944 Operation Valkyrie....The Plot To Kill Hitler !!! (3 Viewers)

Hopefully all of the insults and disagreements can end here and allow others who wish to view this thread and the pictures that I took on my own time to post can be
viewed and enjoyed by those who wish to do so. Fair enough ?

There was certainly no offence intended in my remarks which were offered in good faith on a point interest and history. You obviously have strong feelings about this but the anger in your second paragraph was uncalled for, I believe, as was the derogatory "young Einsteins" in your opening sentence. The observation I made above pointed no aggressive or accusatory fingers at anyone.

I am not going to get into a flame war or ongoing argument about any of this and this may well be my final contribution to this forum. I did not say anything about concentration camps, or what I might have done or how I would have been so much better than the way Germans behaved. As you point out, I am fortunate that I'll never know how I might behave in such a situation. That DOES NOT give you the right to be unpleasant. I'm entitled to enter into a polite discussion without being insulted.

PA you are right. So is Fieryangel. It was wrong of me to be insulting. I sent Fieryangel a PM apology earlier and here is one on the forum as well. Wadepat thanks for moving the statement.

Thanks again for your great diorama.

Cheers Ludwig, Back to enjoying all of the pics and the "Kaboom"

Thanks, PA. Been offline most of the day doing honey do's so I can earn diorama time. Go t some cool things coming up...I think!!!

Anyway during my shopping around for diorama stuff I found this little carpet at the Hobby stores you recommended. I thought it would be cool in this, Napoleon, etc.

What do you think?

Looks like it is compatible in scale and nice detail. Don't know if they would have used this type of carpet at the Wolf's Lair in Rastenburg ?

I have met some wonderful people on this forum and made good friends, both in cyberspace and in reality. It is these people who make it worth while.

He will no doubt be on soon to apologise as is his fashion. Hang around.

Today is the 68th Anniversary for Operation "Valkyrie"
