July dispatches !!!!!!!!!! (1 Viewer)

Large group of terrific releases this month. A lot of WW1 for me. I must have the new French MG set and the dead Poilu. Just excellent sets. I also really like the various WW1 German sets. I might be waiting on the gas mask versions on these. I really like the detail of the long overcoats on these troops. I think the new Doughboys fit right in with the earlier releases and the whole theme of being pinned while York flanks the MGs. Now we need some German MGs.:wink2: Great month, TGM! -- Al

Some definitely interesting issues, particularly the resistance fighter. The sculpting seems quite good although we'll have to see what Vicki's erstwhile love interest has to say ^&grin

Very nice releases with some very unique surprises! Once again TGM did well IMHO.

Just ordered my Wasserfall and what a great looking rocket it is ^&cool

For my own edification, did all Tauregs traditionally wear blue? If so, is there some meaning or reason behind this? I know many cultures adopted color schemes due to available sources of material for dyes. Just wondering if there is something like this for the Tauregs to be in blue.

The wassefal is good and the V series is the best thing TG are doing at the moment but, the FJ's are particularly poor anatomically and in terms of weathering. MP38/40's are starting to get quite oversized I would suppose they need to be big for the overscaled hands to hold.

The Arabs are nice sculpts but, IMO WWII is falling in quality from what has been released. Mitch

Well Vicki honey I think the sculpting looks great, especially the attractive lady with the MP40 having the Jerry in an uncomfortable position! I am curious though if you can relate to this particular set.. :wink2:^&grin

I love the snowshoes on the FJ's, nice touch!

Agreed Jason and the weathering and overall appearance of the FJ's in my opinion is very good. I also have to say that the MP40 that the French lass is holding looks good and proportionate to her size considering females are generally smaller than blokes!

Well one things for sure, I'll be getting the French WW1 Figs.
