Thank you Steve. Completely agree with you. Some things you never outgrow. The best sets were those with lots of accessories.
Now, rather than playing with our friends as we did as kids, we post pictures and read the comments. Different but still fun (and 1,000 times more detailed).
I'll be delving into a larger 'Nam scene in the near future.
I look forward to seeing your future scenes.

EDIT: While this little Marx set (pictured below) wasn't my first plastic military playset, it was one of my all-time favorites carrying it to several places I visited as a kid with an awesome, all-in-one storage box with handle. I'm sure it helped with my interest in the WWII Pacific campaign. Still have the figures but not much more.

It would be nice a little more Kokoda new releases. Hopefully in the pipeline. Robin.
