Juno Beach Atlantic Wall (1 Viewer)

Yes the 6th of June is looming, this wall must be finished by that date and it is coming together nicely. Robin.

Guy,

Your diorama looks incredible! Are you going to use the K&C Canadian Scottish Regiment to hit the beaches?

Hi Brendan ,
no sir , I will not use the Canadian Scottish Regiment. The scene will depict some German officers inspecting the fortifications a few days before D-Day( bunker, AA gun, MG nests etc.. still to be added)

Your Dio is looking great Guy, looking forward to seeing the finished item..!!. As far as the Canadian Scottish figures sure they could be used but as they landed on a different sector>>(Vaux) then it would not be historically correct, that being said i will be using these figures for a Berniers-sur-Mer dio that i am building, (street-fighting not the beach). It was the Queens own Rifles who landed Berniers....Andy what are you waiting for!!!!!!!!.

Working on my first artillery piece for my Atlantic wall .
The 2cm Flak started out as a grey one, received a base coat of desert sand yellow and now camo is being added with oil paints (ochre, white, greenish umber and brown;

Excellent repaint on the 20cm Flak Gun Guy. I'm assuming it's the TG version?

The paint scheme is very apt. Robin.

Thanks Robin , now I want to finish first the most difficult part of the dio : "Water" .
The whole dio stands or falls with the outcome of creating the sea. I hope the result will be ok
guy:)
