I was just thinking after reading some of the threads here. What are the chances of Tree Frog having a toy soldier made for them?

Kings X has them
The shop in Paris has them and also ModelZone has Britians make exclusive figures for them. There was also the shop in Australia that had Simpson and his donkey.

Perhaps have one from K&C and one from Britains. I am sure it would be a hit with forum members.

What an excellent idea. I am sure we can all give you some great suggestions as to the subject matter for the first Treefrog Treasures exclusives too. :)

Yeah, something like those fish species found in only one of the 10,000+ lakes in Minnesota and no where else. :D

Or, famous trophy fish of a certain minister from Eyota.

Or, FROGS. Yeah that's the ticket collectable FROGS:eek::eek::cool:

Not Nappy:mad::mad::mad::mad::eek:
Is there a famous warrior from Minnesota ????? Hubert Humphrey and Walter Mondale don't count as warriors;):);):p:p

Yo Shannon, this is a serious suggestion, if you wanted a Treefrog model. Now I think everyone knows what we all like ie: big Ron yeh you got it Napoleon, myself Cavalry etc, but most guys I have seen on the forum like heavy armour Tanks. One thing thats is missing from the market at present is WAIT FOR IT a CENTURION Tank, its the most wanted on my list. But it has to be special ie like the old Britains model in size. The Centurion Tank was the ultimate machine for years there was not a Tank on the planet that could live with it. I have only seen two go for sale since I joined in January both missing their ariels and boxes but still went for big money. I am sure it would be a great seller Ltd Edition for forum members and only on a pre order basis. Put me down for No 1 lol. I would pay $400.00 no problem for a good model. What you reckon guys ??.
Bernard. :D:D

If it is ever done, will it be possible for me to purchase one or TF will also refuse my money? No worries to have, my Canadian dollars will be converted in good American cash, just as you like it ;)

Yes, Heavy Armour.
Tiger Tank: 56 tons of Steel proven to ruin your day.
Centurion: The anti-Tiger Tank (even if it wasn't finished soon enough, it was designed to be a super heavy tank)

I wasn't thinking of anything that big Bernard, maybe something smaller like a nice ceremonial drumhorse :D

Okay, I'll cast my vote for Major Cavagnari, General Roberts, and a Corps of Guides escort for the K&C exclusives, and another Zulu War vignette in matte for the Britains exclusive. :)

I think a Tank or any Armor Vehicle would be costly for Treefrog to produce as a SL Set - due to production costs and then markup for profit.

A single figure is more in the profit & value market - I would think.

OK - If no NAPOLEON (which I can't understand ) Then in the WWII Range - how about American Fighting Figures for North Africa ! :D

or RAF Figures for a Battle of Britain Range !

Those are things which Andy is not making (yet?) and could be in high demand for collectors.

Just a few of my thoughts ;)

It should have some relation to Minnesota just as the Crimean War does to K & C UK and Jeanne D'Arc does to Toy Soldiers France. I would suggest something like a Minnesota soldier in the Civil War. That would be rather neat.

1st Minnesota at Gettysburg...With the Rebs breaking thru ..this regiment of about 260 men were ordered to charge a force of some 1500. They did, at the cost of 80% casulties, but they were able to delay the enemy, till Union reinforcements were able to stabilize the line, thus saving the position...Michael

Excellent idea Scott and a good suggestion from Michael as The First Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment fought in virtually every major battle of the eastern theater. From Bull Run to Antietam to Fredericksburg to their famed suicide charge at Gettysburg and annihilation.
Better still no manufacturer has ever produced a Minnesota Infantryman.
Gets my vote and my pre-order;)

I will mention my suggestion about a Minnesota Civil War soldier to Shannon tomorrow and see what she thinks.

I also love the idea of the 1st Minnesota at Gettysburg. One of the famous regiments that has rarely if ever been touched by manufacturers. Just some regular Union troops would be great too. I like the 83rd PA group and have the flag bearer, but they don't incorporate into all dioramas. I wish someone would make some Gettysburg buildings too. I saw a website that has 15mm buildings and thought how much I would love to have some for 54mm.
