This was built from the Tamiya 1/35 scale kit and I experimented with rain marks for the first time.

And the figure that goes with it. I did not build this one.

By the way, how does the Figarti line compare to 1/35 scale? Is it close enough to be displayed next to finished kits? I chose 1/35 as a base since there's the most variety.

Very nice . As for scale 1/35 stuff will be to small to 1/32 scale let alone 1/30 scale I'm sorry to say

Very well done. Nice to see a 1/35th kit.

What technique did you use for the rain marks?

Scott

very nice model and some very nice weathering. Neil is right about the 1/35th scale stuff not working well with the vast majority of stuff in this part of the hobby. They can be used as background cover in dio's with the 1/32/1/30th stuff at the front for perspective but, when painting is as good as that it will also cause some incompatability.
Good work

Thanks for the comments. The rain marks were done using AK interactive rain marks. It's really easy to use.

That's too bad about the scales, I really like K&C figure poses.

Very nice attention to detail...

Nice build and painting on your model. Looks great. Maybe I will get inspired to finish some kits. Thanks for pics. John

Agree with you John on his painting of the kit it's very well done. By the way hope it has gotten you inspired to finish a few kits............Joe

The rain streaking turned out nice, nice job!

@Scott (Hazebrouck) you can do that with very thin acrylic washes, too.

Prost!
