Michael mate,
You have to tell me why my morning cup of tea and crumpet is so much better with a Michael Miller dio. Whether it be K&C or JJD you start the day well for me. Keep 'em coming cobber. Also keep building those foam buildings. Your talent never ceases to amaze me.
Cheers Howard

thank you Howard...gotta be honest though...I didn't build this piece...I wish I was that good...it's a Dept 56 piece that I just got today...I'm gonna take some pictures of my new Crusaders/Saracens and will use my building next...hehehe...

you will see a big difference in craftsmanship...

Nice Mike, congratulations on your reinforcements. I especially like the Saracen, I think those are some of the best K&C horses. I would rather not have so many gapping mouths but that seems to be a military sculptor thing that most of them just don't understand. This should give you some fine new diorama additions.

Real nice additions to your Crusader/Saracen collection Michael. Your use of the Dept 56 Caravansary Gate and walls look real good too. Gee, I wonder where I've seen that type of a display before . . .:p;). All kidding aside, as we discussed last week, I knew you would like the Dept 56 items.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of them . . . . .
:) Mike

Bill mate,
K&C always sculpt great horses. As an old Lighthorseman my reason for the gapping mouths on the horses is due to fact that both riders are slowing their mounts and are pulling on the reins which in turn is pulling on the bit in the horse's mouth. True realism.
Cheers Howard

Thank you Bill...Mike and Scott...

a few more if you guys don't mind...

I always take pictures of my new acquisitions...

Wow, that looks like a detached great helm. Can it be moved and place on the knights head?

NICE pics Michael-as always. I'm a bit behind on the mounted Crusader line, but am ordering the Irish rider this weekend-that green and white looks cool.

Thanks Mike...I have been meaning to finsh my collection for a year now...the mounted figures were saved to last cause they are so pricey...but I'm trying to hurry up before anymore retire...

Thank you Mike (Mestell)...for helping me out with this piece...

Howard...this is the structure I built...my first foam building...it turned out okay...probably not suitable for the Crusaders with a wooden porch...but I did make the porch detachable...anyway...

Indeed, both Sir Walter and Robert are going for premature retirements - and the war isn't finished yet...
