Just picked up the Snork Sherman. Superb piece, as the photos suggested.
A few quick snaps:

Fantastic detail, removable scuba diving gear, great weathering and the pitting on the turret is very cool. The Limited Edition number is engraved on to the bottom of the tank (LE 4 of 100), which is a real nice touch, rather than just a certificate or sticker.
Top job by Figarti again and another thanks to Clive Gande for getting this out in super quick time.

Few more:

Man, Simon, I can't wait to get mine!! All I can say is the quality of Armor available from Figarti is the best I have seen to date, and Matt from First Legion may end up eating his hat after all. Rick has thrown down the gauntlet!:cool: I can't wait to sit the new Figarti vehicles and the First Legion Stug side by side . . . like I said, broke but happy!

Are you going to paint his one Pink too? :D

Wow! the detail is fantastic, that .50cal looks like the best I've seen in and around this scale and the figure looks top notch as well!

Wow, if Louis is that impressed I can hardly wait to get my Figarti Firefly. From all the recent pictures of all these new Figarti releases they sure have reset the bar and have got collectors all excited. The only problem for me are the pricetags and the super limited releases which make these pieces sell out very fast. You've got to be quick too get one and unfortunately I found out about the Priest too late and missed it. These pieces are selling out super fast. :(

Cheers

Sierra Toy Soldiers & Minutemen Toy Soldiers still have the Priest listed as available for pre-order as I was just checking their respective web pages! Go get it fast!

I have the Honour Bound Gold Edition Snorkel Sherman (paid north of $450 for it), and I can tell you in no uncertain terms, the photos of the Figarti version, at $179, look clearly better. If the vehicle is as good as the photos, it will set a new standard for armor in this hobby. As I have said, however, I hesitate to judge a product based on the photos, to truly rate a figure or vehicle, you have to see it in person. So far, both First Legion and Figarti have put out pieces of armor that in photographs look to be on a par with a master built model. I can't wait to see them in person and compare them side by side for quality.

As resident Shermanoholic I thought I'd chime in - It look very NICE!!! I'd love to see one in person. The photos look like Figarti did their homework on this one. The major difference between Figarti's "Hurricane" and the one photographed in 1944 was that the 2nd Armored Division's tank was that the real one had canvas waterproofing seals around the bow MG and the 75mm gun mount.

If the production tank looks like the sample, Figarti has earned a Grade of "A" on this one!

This tank looks absolutely top notch and Figarti appears absolutely unstoppable. Are they on a roll, or what? I'm officially scared of what they will be unveiling in Chicago. And yes, from the photos, Matt from FL may have to start thinking about a side dish to go with that hat of his:);):p! Just havin' a little fun w/ the excitement this new Figarti avalanche is creating. I'm certain Matt's stug will be amazing. What's especially nice is how his vehicle acommodates his full body figs. But I wonder what his pricing structure will look like. These new Figarti pieces appear to be at the top of their class and are priced quite fairly and competitively, as evidenced by their selling out many new pieces on preorders alone. But with all that said, I still have not seen one of these wonderful new creations in person. I've got several pieces on pre-order (my wife is quite literally going to murder me; I can only hope she'll bury me w/ my toys!:p), including one of the new highlander figure sets, which looks to be another step up the ladder of figure sculpting for Rick and Co. I'm most excited to get the Firefly and the Priest. All I know is, when Louis and Rob speak so highly of something, there is simply no doubt what we are experiencing. Thanks Simon Wraith for the photos of your new treasure. It looks like an absolute 10 out of 10, or in the category of obscure references, on the Spinal Tap scale, this could be deemed an 11! :p

Louis, I'm the reverse of you, as I've only got photos of the HB to compare, but it would be good to see a photo of the 2 brands, side by side. I'm guessing they'll be pretty compatable and look pretty neat.

Only 1.30am :D Sleep just gets in the way of playtime. And, er, no, I think I'll leave this one the colour it is :p

S'funny Ray. Exactly what I thought when I pulled the MG out of the foam. Figure sculpting is much improved over earlier figures.

Wraith:

Are the base of the snorkels removable too and make it look like a regular Sherman? If not, are they glued on or molded as one piece with the tank?

I've always wanted a Sherman with a 3-piece transmission cover.

Thanks
N-P

Fantastic looking Sherman Simon. Thanks for the pictures including the packaging.

The improvements in AFVs from all manufacturers over the last few years has been truly impressive.
