I really like that version of the stug. It goes for a fortune now a really good AFV and, are we not due a similar model soon?
Nice set up Rob
Mitch

This one with it's full complement of driver and passengers would cost a fortune if it was remade now!

Six or seven years ago I walked into the Royal National Hotel in London on a mission to continue building up my Toy Army workshop collection. After purchasing I began perusing the tables. After a while I came across Mike Neville of K&C UK, he only had a couple of tables if memory serves then, and sraight away I was struck by the figures. I quite simply had never seen figures as realistic as these,I'd been collecting since the age of about seven but this was something wholly different . The quality lept out at you and it was obvious from remarks all around me that these figures were creating a buzz. Even though I'd spent my budget for the day I lingered around the tables transfixed by these figures.Mike happily told me all about them even though I confessed I had no more money that day.

As I walked out into the London sunshine and headed for home my whole collecting hobby was veering off in another direction. I have quite simply never looked back.

In the following seven years K&C have never ceased producing superior products, realistic, well made, varied and in depth they are for me and I suspect many thousands of collectors around the world the No1 producer in the world. The spectrum of varied ranges they produce cannot be matched by any other producer,I guess Britains can only come nearest in this plethora of historical choice. No one else can also offer such depth in a series as K&C do, just look at any of the WW2 ranges alone, who else can offer the amount of variation in men and machines, fighting and support troops, backdrops and diorama accessories.

Month after month Year after year we get wave after wave of superb releases making it very easy to build up a wonderful collection. All these things together is why K&C are No1.

I wanted on this thread in the K&C area for you guys to celebrate what it is about K&C that makes it no1 for you:)

Dear Rob:
I started my toy soldier collecting in December 1991. My first main purchases were from Old Alymer of Spain soon followed by Trophy Miniatures of Wales, UK and by 1997 many Frontline Figures sets. I did buy some K&C Sudan War Grenadier Guards sets in January 1993, but otherwise continued to buy mainly Trophy Miniatures except for getting many of K&C's Streets of Old Hong Kong starting in 1994. However, in circa 1999 I became a devoted K&C buyer at nearly 100% of the time thereafter. K&C's figures have become truly amazing as to detail since 2003. I have sold many pre-2003 K&C sets that were replaced by copywrite 2003 or later sets. The sales of the older retired K&C sets on eBay gave me more than enough money to buy the newer K&C sets. As I enjoy making up dioramas & displays that look realistic as possible it was easy to just buy K&C very nearly all the time. Also, Andy Neilson and his staff do a great job providing service to their customers. K&C sets have been consistantly splendid.
Best regards, "Iron Brigade"

Thank you Gebhard, I appreciate that and fully agree with you. Whatever we collect as long as we enjoy it is the main thing.

That's a great looking collection you have there Rob. Makes me want to go and get out some of my older stuff as well. Thanks for sharing.:)

Rob, just realized I didn't really answer your original question for this post. (I was too busy looking at your pictures:))

Being mainly a WWII collector K&C is special to me simply because of all the different lines/choices they come up with month after month. My first piece several years ago was the Wittman Tiger and when I received it, I was amazed at the detail of the figures and the overall quality of the tank. I was hooked then and K&C just keeps improving on the quality year after year. I appreciate Andy for his dedication and committment to this hobby/industry.

Nice pics James.

Heres the baby we were talking about earlier, great AFV from K&C:cool:
