K&C and Kronprinz (1 Viewer)

I do not know if there is a connection but I have these figures and they are great and cheap !!!!!
guy:smile2:

Michael,

Do you say that because they were associated with Del Prado? K & C no longer makes product for Del Prado.

no Brad...that never crossed my mind...

I was just directing Randy to a thread where the owner declared himself as "the owner"...

someone once told me that Emilio casts his figures in his basement and his wife paints them...

I don't know anyone that actually even carries them other than GG...

but as Randy insinuated from the posted picture...

I also find it interesting that K&C has a display with any other figures than their own on it...

Great Guy, how about a scene using them with some K&C figures. Robin.

Yes Robin,
I am working on that . First finish a TG vignette and then ........... a city scene and this time not with ruined or bombed houses .Maybe a Paris Boulevard during the German occupation ?

At this rate I will have the ones I ordered and have a scene of my own^&grin. I gather you have the WW11 figures Guy. I am hoping they blend in size wise with my K&C. The French street scene used by K&C recently with civilians is what influenced me to make a purchase, but time will tell whether I have made a good choice. Robin.

What I want to know is who makes the car?.....:wink2:
Wayne.

Yes, that car is cool. Maybe it's a future release. The two roadsters K & C made for RAF and the mini submarine line were excellent. I always thought that a separate roadster/car line would or could be very successful.

George of Minutemen is the only US distributor for Kronprinz.
I collect their Napoleonic figures and they blend well with WB, JJD and to a lesser degree with K&C older series. Not sure what size the new K&C Voltigeurs will be, the last release of French Fussiliers was larger sized.
Delivery is still erratic but the figures are well made and priced competitively. I am collecting them for earlier empire conflicts not Waterloo. They have released Russians, Austrians and Hungarians that can be used for Austerlitz through Wagram.
According to Emillo early French (with bicorns) are forthcoming.
Give them a try.

It might be a simple case of one manufacturer helping out another? It's not the first time K&C have used other companies products in their displays and I'm sure it won't be their last. It's actually quite nice to see this happening and kind of says a lot about K&C.

No doubt our resident conspiracy theorists will however, think up some negative spin on there use.:wink2::tongue:

Perhaps it is really an advertisement for Kronprinz figures that makes use of K&C buildings?{sm4}{sm4}

Now what would ever give you that idea Toddy.....:p:rolleyes2:{sm3} And I still want to know who made that car?....:)
Wayne.

Or maybe it is just to proof that Kronprinz figures and K&C figures go well together, despite of all the literature spent elsewhere about KP being the only 1/30 scale figures on the market and K&C being 1/28 scale ???????
