Here is my new dio fellows,
It showns two K&C Russian sloggers supported by a TGM Russian Hetzer advancing through the streets of Budapest in January 1945. The battle for Budapest was a fierce one and lasted for 102 days ( 29th dec 1944- 13th Feb 1945). The German 13th Panzer Div, the Feldherrnhalle Panzer Grenadier Div, the Florian Geyer Cavalry Div, the 22nd Freiwilligen Cavalry Div Maria Theresa, the 3th SS Totenkopf Panzer Div and the 5th SS Wiking Panzer Div were almost totally anihilated. The dio shows the advance of the Russian troops. Note the poster on the wall of the ruined building for a very popular Hungarian Champagne. The copy of the magazine "Signal" on the pavement and a lot more details. The sign post indicates the way to the city centre and to one of the major avenues in the city
Hope you enjoy the pictures

Very nice dio Guy! {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Full of details, and showing well the destruction of war.

Yes, that was the very last Hitler' s attack ( after the defeat of Ardennes)with his strongest army: the 6th waffen ss panzergrenadier corp, commander Sepp Dietrich.This operation made Guderian crazy( he was chief of Army Staff at that time) as he needed desperately those troops to protect Berlin!

Nice to show a battle not forecast by toysoldiers companies! I have your same aim :cool:

ps: I just disagree with the title " liberate". It was more a soviet invasion than a liberation, as after it ,Hungary suffered for many years the red terror and the stalinist communist rulings with deportations,killings, compulsory purchases and so on...

That looks great Guy. Those new K&C Russians look good and go along well with the TGM Hetzer. Great dio scenery as well.

Outstanding Guy, your normal quality work and using a backdrop adds that extra touch that brings the scene to life......{bravo}}

Another cracker of a dio from you Guy. Great attention to detail and the backdrop you used is seemless!
