Here is my new dio fellows,
It showns two K&C Russian sloggers supported by a TGM Russian Hetzer advancing through the streets of Budapest in January 1945. The battle for Budapest was a fierce one and lasted for 102 days ( 29th dec 1944- 13th Feb 1945). The German 13th Panzer Div, the Feldherrnhalle Panzer Grenadier Div, the Florian Geyer Cavalry Div, the 22nd Freiwilligen Cavalry Div Maria Theresa, the 3th SS Totenkopf Panzer Div and the 5th SS Wiking Panzer Div were almost totally anihilated. The dio shows the advance of the Russian troops. Note the poster on the wall of the ruined building for a very popular Hungarian Champagne. The copy of the magazine "Signal" on the pavement and a lot more details. The sign post indicates the way to the city centre and to one of the major avenues in the city
Hope you enjoy the pictures
