Nice video, and I enjoyed the panzerlied soundtrack too. How much has changed in the past 68 years, but not our admiration and gratitude to the courage and sacrifice of those who fought there!

Great video mate well done,i like how it looks old and a classic sound track.

Saw this baby yesterday
the M4A1 Sherman in the town of Laroche /Ardennes ;Hull casted in one piece and fitted with a 76mm gun without a muzzle ( as from 1943 onwards), but for this tank ( named Amboy) belonging to the 3th US armored Div it was of no further use . The whole crew was killed by a direct hit ( probably an 88mm) just left of the machine gun and another hit in front ( left side as well) just under the gun mantlet.By the way Laroche was liberated twice, first by the british and during the Bulge by the 2nd and 3th US Armored divisions.

Thanks for the pic's and info Guy, it reminded me of this doco (documentry) that i watched late last year about shermans being used in WWII Europe. It gave an account from a bloke who used to repair shermans that were damaged in battle and how he and his repair crew had to not only repair and get them back up and running, but also clean up the carnage (blood etc) inside the vehicles. The crews that operated them were certainly brave people especially when they knew they were out gunned by the panzers and had 88 implacements and tank destroyers just waiting to take them out!
