K&C Crusader Diorama (1 Viewer)

Those are awesome buildings. The pic with old car in foreground is one of the best diorama shots I have ever seen. I had a few questions if you don't mind.

How sturdy is the material, say in comparison to the high density foam buildings ?

What type of glue do you use for bonding pieces ?

Thanks

Hi,

All the rubble is from Blue foam than I cut in small blocks. This type of foam is very ease to manipulate especially when you mix with sand and small rocks. I used an artistically Clay to put all together and glued with silicone glue, the same that we use on the toilet and bath.

My diorama measure 10 feet long for 6 feet wide.

Materials

Foam (all the buildings and the rubbles are made)
Sand (to give more realistic aspects)
Small rocks (for the rubbles)
Silicone glue (to glue everything included the rubbles debris)

That is all

If you need more info, don’t hesitate

CHEERS

More debris.

Cheers:)

Would it be possible to see some of these photos without the "special effects" on them please....I bet they look just as good.

Yes

I changed all the fotos, already, for the next I will provide some without the efects.

Cheers:)

If you want castles....

I ran across this web site a while back. They'll make them in either wood or granite!!

Damian

Those are greeat figures arent they ? :D

I love them - I still have a few more to get to complete my collection. Are you excited about the new releases??

A great melee going on there Damian!

Toy company Schleich makes Crusader castle wall and tower pieces that are more durable and less expensive than the polystone pieces from toy soldier companies. They can be found at most educational toy stores.

Shannon!

Would it be possible to move this tread to "Dioramas" under Discussion?

I thnik this would be the correct place for it and now i am done with the diorama and almost ready to posts some pics! :)

Agreed.
Taking WW2 out of the picture, I think the Crusader range is right up there in quality with the SOHK and IC ranges. Magnificent poses and terrific paint jobs. Some more Crusaders are on my October shopping list.
