I got this in the other day as well !

It is a LEE TANK from King and County ! The Ebay Sale was for the Tank Only and it did not come with the figures from the set. NO PROBLEM - I LOVE THE LEE TANK.

Only paid $142.00 - It had a few nics and chips - but, nothing I can't fix with my Vallejo Paints - I believe for the LEE TANK long retired it was a good deal.

So - here is my next diorama in the making !

Nice find, I have the full set with Bogie, but I bought another single tank too this way, had it repainted by Alex and am just getting ready to cut a Monty figure in half to have a K&C Monty's Grant!

Who was the seller? It looks like the one I bought from a seller on one of the action figure boards. I got it with the turret missing and the figures loose in the box. I had to send it back to him. I eventully got my 100 bucks back. I guess he finally found the turret. The figures were trashed. It was a shame. He originally offered to me for 50 bucks. Never knew what he had.

This tank was my first K/C purchase. I was a big Sahara fan and still consider it on my top 10 list. Forgetting that Figarti did one, why hasn't K/C ever updated this model? They have never been shy about reproducing other tanks..Michael

This was for the Tank ONLY - no figures. The K&C Box it came in was made for just the Tank ? - Was not the same box that I got my other LEE TANK with Figures (DD-24) in - so Louis probally knows the history on this DD24 ?

Not sure if this was the same one ?

The minor chip looked to be caused by poor packaging - the back chip / not sure ? This had no figures and the box it came in had no figure spots in the packaging - the K&C was White and had the OLD K&C Green Round Label.

It must be a different tank. Mine had no box. The guy who sold me mine recently sent me an email that he was listing a few other pieces on eBay. That's why I was curious. Plus he swore to me that the turret was MIA. It is a great tank. I wish my deal had worked out.

Hello Ron! If you Compare K&C Lee Tank with Figarti Lee or Monty's Tank K&C is Larger in Size! I Painted my Lee K&C Tank and Added-a Turret from 1/32 Plastic Model Kit , and made this Tank into a M-3 Grant Tank! If you're Interested , I have a EXTRA K&C LEE Tank Crew/ Send me Private Message!
