K&C Kettinkrad? (1 Viewer)

I don't collect WW2, but I thought this would make a good set up, I think the AT gun is still current?
This photo was taken at one of the War & Peace shows in England a couple of years ago.
Regards.

Noli-Poli,

Great pictures. I've got the ME262 so I could do that exact (second) scene once Andy makes the Kettenkrad (especially if he does a Luftwaffe version). You know, for new wood warbirds. Hint, hint, hint.

This is one vehicle I will be ecstatic over, now we need a kubel wagon.

Andy has said he'll be making one. Have no idea when, however.

RE: KETTENRAD (Note the spelling!)

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the support on the upcoming “Kettenrad”. Don’t worry Bill S. I’ll write a personal letter to you making sure you get #1 off the production line!

Hmmm, you’re right Louis they were used on airfields! What a great idea…

No, Gerard of Frontline has never let me drive his “Kettenrad”…but I think he’s tried to run me over in it a few times!!!

Best wishes and…happy collecting!

Andy C. Neilson

P.S.

To John G…as usual a bunch of great ideas – I’m going to do all of them… eventually… but maybe not in this one lifetime.

Thanks Andy! As usual you are a very gracious man. I appreciate the thought.

With Much Appreciation,
Bill Sager

Geeez Andy, did you ever think making some goofy looking half motorcycle, half tracked whatchamacallit would cause such giddiness by a bunch of schoolgirl acting, never grew up, plays with toy soldiers wierdos? I'm glad I didn't make a fool of myself over this nonsense. Oh yeah, please reserve one of each version you make or I'll just die!

Please, please tell me that you are not jut leading me on . . . I would kill for Luftwaffe groundcrew sets!

Andy seems to be hinting about a Luftwaffe Kettenrad, which would have to be part of a series of Luftwaffe groundcrew. I am hoping against hope that this means he has found a factory for more warbirds. You know Andy's prediliction for surprises, so I guess we'll have to wait and see, but wouldn't it be great if one of the two "secret" new lines Andy is releasing is World War II air wars? I can imagine it now . . . ground crew, pilots, dispatch riders, fuel bowsers, RAF, USAF and Luftwaffe vehicles, control towers, quonset huts, all done in todays level of quality in sculpting and matt painting. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Louis and I will travel to HK to help you make them!
I can just see the two of you hunched over a table in one of the factories in China ... painting on details.:)

Any idea when Andy might make an announcement regarding the two new lines?

Has anyone heard about the new King & Country Rommel 'Strictly Limited' Megaset. It will include Rommels' Greif, Rommels' Fiesler Storch and Rommels' Kettengrad - that he only drove on Sundays.

How about throwing a Peenemunde set up into the mix with a couple of V2 rockets? If Andy goes with the warbirds hope they can be displayed without a stand. Could go for a nice ME 262.

K&C Warbirds are always produced with landing gear down, so can always be displayed without a stand. I too would love to see a K&C V2, and, as the proud owner of a K&C ME262, I can tell you its a great model. I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed that Andy can find a factory that can do the job.

The Philipine company I buy from already makes a wonderfull V2 in matte finish. I have one standing right next to me waiting for its' new owner to give me a call. It's in 1:32 too boot!

I tried your site and could not find a picture of the V2. Please, would you post a link to a picture of it?

Michael

Here it is- keep in mind that this one is spoken for. I didn't post it to my site because these are kind of hard to get, so I special order them. I have to re-work my soldiers & military section of my site anyways. It's due for an overhaul. I can get more of these if you have to have one...

I have a V-1 in 1/24 also. It's also spoken for but a bit less interesting looking.
