Anyone have one they want to sell or know of where one is for purchase???

Thanks
Zach

Zach,

Your chances of finding this set are slim. Very few sets made. The only person I know who has this set is Louis. He may know how many were made. I wouldn't get my hopes up of finding this.

haha ,I know. I've been looking for a long time, just throw it out there now and again. I think there were approx 200 made, not sure though

It was especially made for the Hong Kong production of Les Mis and only available there.

Here are photos of Louis' set.

gottalovecollecting (a TF member) offered me this set for $800 ( I passed and he sold it for much more)...I'm sure about $1500 is about right for putting a number with it given it's rarity. What is weird is I usually find most interest in the rarest pieces but I couldn't find the love with this set as I do other's!

Good luck on the hunt!

Hi Guys,

Good luck in trying to find one of these sets… I’ve only got one set here in H.Q.

For the record… 500 sets were made – 300 for the Touring Company themselves (approx. 100 went to cast and crew, the other 200 sold at the Souvenier concession after the show.)

The remaining 200 were sold by K&C, mainly in our HK store however a few were sold overseas.

Hope this helps… Best wishes and… best of luck!

Andy C.

Thanks for the information Andy. I'm guessing that since 300 of these were sold to non-toy soldier collectors, most of them are either probably gathering dust somewhere or have been tossed (akin to our mothers tossing out our baseball card collections, thereby making them rare).

I'm further guessing that some other theatre goers probably purchased the set at the Pacific Place Store and the rest are in collectors hands, thus making for a very rare set.

Brad
