The Americans were well dug in, and the element of surprise was on there side. They just had to hold out long enough for US reinforcements to arrive.

"steady............steady..............this is it boys.........."

The tides were about to change when a near by German Stug unexpectedly showed up right in the middle of the American "strong point" and dismantled the Americans hound. The Germans pushed with infantry reinforcements.

The Americans had to fall back. Where were there backup's... they should have been here by now..... they won't be able to hold much longer, and this Normandy village was a key town.... they must hold on.... they fought valiantly.

Fantastic! Thanks for posting these. Love the 'diodrama'.

FINALLY, American G.I.'s arrived with the company of a Chaffee tank. They quickly took care of the German Stug's, because its inability to quickly maneuver.

The battle raged on, ........................................... to be continued...........

Tyler

Superb vignette you've got going on there-really excellent set-up and great placement of figures.

Your story reminds me of an episode from the old TV series "Combat" that followed Company K fighting their way across Europe.

Well done! I like it-very much

Nicely done. I think my only suggestion is to perhaps use a photo service like photobucket. That way your photos would come out larger.

Nice dio. I like the way you mixed the early SS and FJ figures from KC with the later issues. -- lancer

Thank you,

I think my favorite part of building this scene was incorporating the US recovery vehicle. This was the first time I've used it since I bought it. It really is an awesome piece, the poses from the figures are really sweet, I really like the driver hanging out of the window....

-jazzeum: Thanks for the recommendation, I will look into that. I've been having a lot of problems uploading pictures because of the size restrictions.

Great stuff, thanks. :D The buildings are painted really well and great story and shots of the action. If you carry on maybe move it to the diodrama section? Best wishes.
