Well the roadwheels are not for a Normandy Panther, the steel roadwheels were introduced on Panthers toward the end of the war. I believe those vehicles were a testbed so to speak for Panther II production with steel wheels.

:DLouis, Louis, Louis. You always have such a talent for stating the obvious;)
I got a very nice laugh out of the last post. Thank you.

Be serious!! I really need to know if the scale size is accurate for this item!

The scale is accurate for 1/30 if comparing KC Panther to the Honour Bound Panthers is any indication. Both manufacturers are 1/30 and they match up size-wise to each other almost identically. -- lancer

Louis 300mm plus might be alittle closer . I could be wrong as we changed in 1966 to easy easy metric. Can't remember the conversions anymore.1lb is 2.2kgs 1 stone is around 6kgs and 4 litres is about 1 gallon .1 oz dollar worth about nothing.Simmo.

The Honour Bound version is more accurate in detail but lacks the visual appeal of the K & C Panther despite its track issues, the size difference is so marginal it is barely noticeable.

I skipped this because of the track issues, but at the price it's selling, its very tempting indeed.

I don't know about the scaling, as the Panther was released just about the time that K&C acknowledged that their vehicles were a bit small.

BUT

It's one of my favorite pieces, largely because of the crew poses. The officers up top scanning for planes is cool. I don't regret picking one up.
