K/C Radio wagon:Comments (1 Viewer)

Njja. Thanks for great looking pictures. I am sure A.K. version will also be a hit.

Thanks for the various pics. Its nice to see the actual piece photed, not just the marketing picture ( not that I think they are touched up like models on a magazine cover ). Definitely going to snap one of these up, I think it would look great with the winter schwimmwagen.

I received mine yesterday. In my opinion, this is the best vehicle in overall sculpting/painting/weathering that K&C has done to date, and it is as good as a Figarti vehicle at a substantially lower price. The empire strikes back!:cool::cool::cool:

I'm with Louis, I saw the Radio Truck in one of Brett's new dioramas at The Military Warehouse on Friday and I thought at the time it was the most attractive model K & C have done to date. As I said below, the model is better first hand than the photos suggest.

Whats his new display like a bit far for me to travel Friday night................:D

Wayne,
I will take a photo. Basically had a Build A Rama snow with road mat, winter trees and bushes from JG Miniatures and all the new K&C Bulge German items. Looked great. Oh yes and I have a painted advance party of the 8 Light Horse figures which I displayed with Build A rama desert mat, K&C well, JG Mins rocks with scrub and K&C village gate and shop (on other side of the buildings was SAS/LRDG). I had fun with JG Mins and BAR items and just a few simple items can change the display significantly.
I forgot to get OzDigger to show me how to load images here but will definitely post as soon as know how (especially Light Horse which look great).
Regards
Brett

Thanks mate you lucky Blokes can have your get togethers.

How does this ranks besides the Raupenschlepper?

It is equal in quality to the Raupenschlepper, which in my opinion was one of K/C's "best weathered" Battle of the Bulge efforts....the radio wagon is a winner....:)

Just seen this for the first time in Birmingham today, very nice model indeed. Some of the best weathering I've seen on any release.Talking to Tony he said he thought the AK version was even better.
