K&C RAF range ? (1 Viewer)

Yes they contributed hugely to the RAF victory and fully deserve their recognition, so far K&C have given us WAAF figures and there are women drivers in the ambulance and I think the new Austin Tilly's?.

They still do...

Would love to see a Sector Station plotting table with a Group captain standing near a table with a phone and a number of WAAF plotters standing around a map of southern England.

A Model of a RADAR would be good as well - different but I would get it.

Andy...

That would make a really nice SL

Superb idea, where do I sign, would love to see a radar too.

Suddenly Austin Tilly's are everywhere!. Jeff said they were in the Battle of Britain and the Eagle has landed this weekend, I've just got a dvd re Bomb disposal in WW2 in which they use a Tilly, and today I saw a modelling magazine in which a big article celebrated the release of a Tilly from either Revell or Tamiya I think it was. The Tilly is in fashion my friends!:D

Rob

Mays issue of model military international had a great spread about Tamiya's new Tilly which, was very good and a few more recently have profiled this vehicle.

Also probably a good one for Howard as it had some great paint schemes for desert vehicles.

It would be too much to ask for more RAF stuff this dispatch wouldn't it?

Andy...

Not at all as now is the best time to release it with everything that is going on to commemorate this great battle. Also, a bit of greed in wanting more RAF stuff released.

And as its a pretty new range there is still loads of stuff to be made, such a good range and such a vital Battle, its all good!

Rob...

The only limits seem to be a reconciliation with what collectors want and what Andy likes and believes will sell. Either way I am sure the range will get some cracking releases over the next years.
