K&C Secret Desert Airfield (2 Viewers)

Thanks for the likes and comments guys. All down to Louis letting me shoot his amazing collection.

Thank you Scott, I don't know if you have seen, but I have been posting regularly in the diodrama section - not much on the Bulge, but over some months in the Arnhem section have done taking JOE's bridge to nearly reaching Nijmegen for 30 Corps and am nearing the end of 2 Para at the bridge

hi Kevin,
many thanks for posting those reminders of one of Gordon’s most original dioramas!

The only thing missing is ‘Indiana Jones’...But I do believe I saw a figure of ‘Illinois Badolato’ hiding somewhere in the background!!!
Best wishes,
Andy.

As I recall I was, how did Kevin put it, "sitting on my butt up and down the stairs all day," bringing the dioramas and K&C vehicles, aircraft and figures down from the third floor to where Kevin was shooting the photos in my backyard for the K&C book.:salute::

YES, Gordon's massive Egyptian Tempel diorama and complex.^&grin

I thought that I recognized that work … or a piece of it anyway.

Nice reminder of the Gordon's work and you doing justice to the piece with your setup.

Eh up Badolato,

You were lucky....

..... most of blokes in't desert had to break big rocks with t' bare hands, shaping 'em wit' sandpaper, licking 'em smooth, then with palm rope gripped between whats left of t't teeth, one hand on loin cloth, pull them on toothpick rollers up and down, up and down steep bits.....

...... even worse than Yorkshire.

You got to sit on yer butt, and watch parrot, and use stairs!

Yes they will - provided you can present the correct para-psychological metastasis of the social construct of these complex divinity based, intersecting tribes ^&confuse .... or some bo@@oc~# like that anyway.

Or - use the philosophical approach and pass the Drambuie. :p
