What is the insignia on the side of the hull about? What does it represent?

the pattern just seemed strange to me

Any experts can help me out?

It's hard to see in the photo. Italy had only 6 armoured divisions and the symbol on the Semovente doesn't look exactly like any of theirs. It could be the 132 Armoured Division "Ariete" with it's symbol of a ram's head. They were in North Afrika 1940 - 1943 as the K&C advert says somewhere in North Africa between 1940 and 1943.

Hi Terry, yes it does look like a Rams Head on the K & C version.

Do you have the actual model yet? It's difficult to tell from the photo but I don't see what other insignia it could be. At first I thought it might be from the 131 Armoured Division with the insingia of a centaur firing a bow but I am pretty sure it is the ram's head.

Not yet, and not 100% sure that I will as there's plenty of higher priorities atm.
