Is it me or are there less figures now with new vehicles, thinking of new AK Panzer II, which is more money, but appears to be same vehicle and with no figures, but is more expensive than the first AK Panzer II which had 3 extra figures? the new vehicles - Bedford Truck, FOB German Armoured car have none or 1 figure inside the vehicle.

This is an attempt by KC to keep set cost down and more affordable. -- lancer

Partly agree but prices are not staying down, lets compare the D-Day paratroopers with the old set, more money but 2 paras instead of 3, then there is the new napoleonic cannon, compared with the last French cannon it is almost a third as expensive

The price reflects increased production costs in china due to the chinese people striving to improve their standards of living, cannot argue with that, its called "Progress".

I have been quite pleased with the overall SET VALUE & VEHICLE VALUE - with the recent releases from King & Country. I really believe that Andy is making a big effort to give more bang for the buck $$$ :)

I'm with you Wayne, its always nice to get accompanying figures with vehicles, but that simply pushes the price up. At the end of the day K&C often sell sets designed to accompany their associated vehicles anyway.
I'm all for keeping the price down, lets be honest this hobbie ain't cheap....;)

As a hopeless addict to this hobby I also appreciate any move that helps lower prices,K&C continue to give value for money time after time.

Times were good though a few years ago when you got a Hummel with 4 crew, AK 222 with 3 figures, US M12 with 5 figures etc all for the same or cheaper prices than now.

M10 tank destroyer and the Hellcat and Greyhound as well had loads of figures with them.

It's much harder now to build up a comprehensive collection than those of us who started a just a few years back (2005 for me)

When you demand more realism, it's going to cost. When K & C started to make better tracks, I think we all knew that the price would have to go up.

The key for me is to keep purchases within a budget. A vehicle with 3 or 4 figures is just going to be hard, if not impossible, for me to afford. A tank and 1 or 2 partial figures will be affordable. With add on sets that are available separately I can budget for them and collect as needed. If prices mean the vehicle and 1 figure only, then so be it. I would rather have 1 figure with my tank than not be able to afford a tank with 4 or so figures. KC is doing a good job providing their product with prices on the rise everywhere. -- lancer

The K&C howitzer came with a few gun crew plus several individual pieces you could add as you pleased.

I too would rather have a tank with one figure than not have a tank with 5 figures.
