Those are great. I would have loved to gotten those Vietnam or Dickens figures.

The nam figures were superb. The black soldiers looked a little goofy though.

Last time I spoke with Mike Russo at Stockade, he still had some Dickens in stock- call him if interested.

John mate,
An outstanding thread and some great posts. Brochures photos are fantastic. I love the old history of K&C. Keep'em coming cobber.
Have a great Christmas mate and it was a great pleasure to meet you in Chicago. Hope to catch up again in Chicago 2011.
Cheers Howard

Thanks Howard. I appreciate your comments and hope to see you in Chicago again. Have a good holiday. John

Several years I acquired a special brochure made up of five different cards, with sets pictured on back and front. Here are four of them.

The one on the top left is the one that brought big bucks at the recent OTS auctions. The one below that is a special print that Andy made to commemmorate the 40th anniversary of the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941. I have never seen it and when I mentioned it to Louis a few years ago, he had never heard of the print.

Thanks Brad for the pics and I never seen the Hong Kong brochure. I will continue to look for more adds. I saw some for the early wood warbirds. J

Howard,

Next time you speak to Andy you should ask him about that print. I wonder where you can get one.

Cheers,

Excellent thread I sometimes think I like the mags and leaflets better than the figures and vehicles

Thanks Larry for the nice comments. When I have some spare time I will look for more pictures to scan. I just wish I had all the pieces.:D John

John,
Looking forward to seeing those pictures:) Like you, I would like to have them all, but am afraid the wife may find your photo with the chainsaw inspirational:eek::p
Have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!!

Having only come across K&C Glossies recently (I was unaware that they used to make them), I have been very struck with the way "they got it right". Do they STILL make glossies - and if not (as I suspect) - why on earth did they stop?

It's not that I would buy them - I like making up my own from castings. It's just that these are SO nice - I find it difficult to understand why they stopped?

It's up to them - in the final analysis - but I'm just curious - anybody know?

Old Northwest glossy figures.
I have these Glossy Afghans for sale if anyone is interested...they seem abit crude looking to me and likely repainted...three have bent rifles and two have detached hands from arms but still attached to rifles. If interested PM me with your email and I will send pics.
