Karl Mörser 54 cm (1 Viewer)

Steven Chong....

I must admit the usual shock and awe are considered by most collectors as expensive say, compared to normal releases and, I would have expected the Karl to have been more (though I am not complaining) it was a pleasent surprise to see a large piece at such a good price.

I don't know about many others but shock and awe was certainly applied to both product and price in the positive over Karl and the other rail pieces

I have been told that each set is 100 as per normal figarti releases. Just also been told the railguards are being changed to brass instead of photo etch so, a bit more weight will be added.

Really looking forward to this set as its something I have wanted since moving into this part of the hobby. Have modelled these guns but, this looks awesome and, have had a good look at the release compared with the real ones and cannot find anything so far that is not accurate.

What dimensions are you looking for? Unfortunately, I did not measure the Karl or its railroad carrier, and I thought your post #35 listed the lengths.:)

It is my understanding that Treefrog will not be selling the "Karl Moser"...Is this going to be a direct order from Figarti?? Rick can you answer this question for us....Thank you Frank

To clarify...we are in the process of getting details from Hobby Bunker about these pieces. I'll talk to my staff in the morning to be sure they understand where we are in the process.

Dear All,

There seems to be some confusion on the Karl and the BR-52 availability and pricing. I hope to clarify here:

The BR-52 and the entire range will be available before Christmas. We aim to ship out of China before mid-November. However, we do have some of the carriages ready and they will be shipped out first. The Karl and the railway carriers will also ship out of China before mid-November and will arrive in the US before Christmas.

As for pricing. The BR-52 with Tender and track retails for $499. The Karl by itself is $399, The Karl Railway Carrier with 2 tracks is $399. This affordable price can only be possible by adjusting dealer margins on the above items. There is a possibility that your dealer may not carry the 3 items above due to the lowered margins, if so, please contact Figarti's US distributor. If there are any specific inquiries, please feel free to email us at sales@figarti.com or send me a PM.

Thank you for your support.

Seems to be little confusion in the UK. All priced up sorted and awaiting delivery. Thanks for the update

Hi Mitch,
Just to be clear, as I'm the European Distributor as Grey Goose I can work out my pricing but as Rick said with the reduced dealer discounts which Matt and I have accepted to help keep the price as low as possible it may be difficult for the wider dealer community to stock without sufferring a financial hit. I know both Matt and I are working with them to help as much as possible.
But hey what a great piece!!
Regards
Clive

Lurchio...

Exactly what I was saying. Just buy your sets from the two main distributors and then there is no confusion or alleged confusion. Great piece great price for what you are getting IMO

Rick...Thanks for the clarification...Great products at affordable pricing ...Best regards Frank

I think the Karl and the Railway Carrier will sell out rather quickly.:) I don't think a dealer would be left holding these items for a long time.
The steam engine might last a bit longer. I'm considering flat cars for displaying tanks.

I see Sierra has the Karl Morser and Carrier listed for 625$ each due to increased shipping cost from Figarti.

hmm,, don't know about the KARL MOSER.. i think Figarti should have made smaller rail guns or some flat car w/antiaircraft guns instead.. Just my opinion

Figarti showed a Quad 20mm anti-aircraft gun on a stand that can be placed on any of the cars, including the tender of the BR 52.:)
