This rocket was an extremely and effective weapon in bombardment, and was feared by German soldiers from the beginning of Barbarosa (June 1941) to the end of the Reich in 1945. The range of the rockets was about 5 kilometers.

Even today theses launchers were very useful. The Israeli and Hezbollah conflict showed the accuracy of this scary and antic weapon The Stalin Organs.

CHEERS:)

Yes indeed.I really like the Katyusha K&C model, however i'm not so keen on the figures that come with it.

In deed, I'm not very enthusiastic with this guy holding an accordion; I'm waiting for better soviets soldiers and armored vehicles and hope that K&C will come out in 2008 with new series of eastern front.

CHEERS:)

Visit.

I know it wasn't a good seller, but I'd like to see this set reissued with decent window treatment and applicable figures, say loading a rocket, rather than a random accordian player.

I actually like "accordian man." The white windows on the K are not too great, but this is a WWII icon. Goes great with the two German POWs and Russian NKVD figures. I have included the HB Soviet Panther in the mix with the HB Russian holding up the captured nazi flag to the POWs. Makes a nice display.

This is a good idea! There’s a dealer in Ottawa (Canada) that sells only the katyusha truck without the accordionist, as you said, whit some NKVD and red army soldiers could be a nice set.

But I would like to see another version of the katyusha launcher, ex; in the half track tank.

Cheers:)
