I just returned from my trip and found the latest issue of the Collector waiting for me. If you're a WW II collector or a Market Garden/Arnhem fan, this is probably the best issue yet and it is called "The Arnhem Issue."

Inside is a seven page article, replete with photos of the first Arnhem releases (both first and second series), of how the Arnhem series came to be. This is followed by an article called "Arnhem: Historic Failure," including a look at the movie. This then is followed by a look at the new Market Garden release. The issue is then finished off with an interview with Gordon.

A fantastic issue.

Although I had an online look at it, I also liked it alot.

Brad, we agree again. Best Collector magazine to date.
I really enjoy the articles showing the inner workings of K&C.
I believe most collectors are into history, so stories on various battles are all well known, but insights, like the makeing of the movie "A Bridge to Far" are really interesting.

How do you get the Collector Issue? Should it be mailed to you if you are a member of K&C? If not do you have to get it from your dealer......I have not added any new K&C items in the past two weeks so I was hoping K&C would mail me one as I am really looking forward to it after hearing all of the reviews...

You have to get it from your dealer. K & C will send it to you if you become a member of the Collectors Club.

I am a member of the club. Will they eventually send me one? I think I was supposed to get updates from them.

While thumbing through this Arnhem issue, I noticed one of the photo's had a British Sherman tank displayed. Is K&C planning to release another Sherman?

The Sherman is one of the older wooden vehicles that used to retail for $384. It would seem logical that in the next Arnhem releases for later this year we'll see a Sherman from XXX Corps.

It is the same tank as the American 105mm howitzer Sherman, minus the machine gun and of course a whole different crew. I would have liked a Firefly instead. I did not purchase this, because I own the American version and I felt that I would be buying the same tank. Nice tank though, if one needs some British fire power to knock out those pill boxes. Finally, I have said this before, but these K&C tank crews are second to none.

It is the same tank but I think it looks great in the English markings and is one of my favorites.
