King and Country Collector Issue No. 19 (1 Viewer)

One suggestion for the collector issue is that Andy might want to drop in some surprises from time to time. Typically all the figures have been announced via the Internet a long time before the CI shows up. I still enjoy the pictures though. It might also be nice if KC released an annual publication with pictures of all the releases from the previous year.

Like your ideas. Even if they opt not to do an annual issue, I wish they would at least show ALL releases for the quarter. I for one would have no complaint about paying more for a bigger, better Collector. The Collector not only helps me decided on my future purchases, it's a nice way to enjoy all the great products that I can't buy.

A few years back, K & C put out a "Turn of the Year" issue. I don't know if this was new things coming out at that time or just a recapitulation of what they had issued that year. At any rate, it was the one and only time a brochure like that was issued.

Same here Kurt. I think its a good idea and hope it lands on fertile ground.

I'd love to see this too. However with Andy needing to keep ahead of the opposition and not give secrets away,i'm not sure he'd want to layout whats coming that far in advance.

I finally received my issue 19 and it turns out I spoke too soon about wanting a bigger Collector. Its twice the size it was only two issues ago. :D

I obtained a copy of issue No 19 and was keen to see what the publication is like. Being a WWII collector I found it an interesting read with some great illustrations. A magazine like that would not be cheap to produce and I feel this issue gave some good insights into K & C, its early Market Garden range and "A Bridge to Far".

However I can understand those that don't collect WWII items may feel a bit let down, maybe next time for you guys. Of course we now need some new Germans for the airborne guys to fight.

Is it Bob Seger. The stealer

Naaah, it was "The Stealer" by an excellent and much under-rated early 1970's UK band called Free. The vocalist, Paul Rodgers, went on to form Bad Company and appeared as a guest singer with Queen when they played Sheffield a couple of years back - the DVD of the concert's available and is pretty good.
Although its not TS's - this is just a wee bit of fun. The latest one is an Irish guy who played superb blues guitar. I managed to see him at his best in the early 1970's. And I guess that's just told UKReb who it is right away.
Suppose this really ought to go into the miscellaneous section.
Cheers
H
