King and Country Tanks ! Roll baby Roll.... (1 Viewer)

I have the Jagdpanther which is one of my favourite vehicles The first time I saw the real thing at the IWM I was just in awe.

I don't have the Matilda though i really wish I did now as my 8th Army is in chronic need of armour.

Do you have the King Tigers Rob?

I have the second one mate,i missed the first. Its very impressive vehicle indeed.Just can't decide if i like the camo on it or not.?.Do you have both James?.

Your right about the Jagdpanther, must have frightened the life out of people coming up against it!.(Unless you were in a typhoon of course!!:D )

Rob

Yep I Have both KT's. I only bought the second because I loved the camo scheme so much. I didn't get the Puma though but i'll get the NMA urban camo Lynx to go alongside them.

Yeah i didn't get the Puma either. And i also think the Urban Lynx would look good alongside the KT.The size difference would be amazing!

Of course they ALL have their good points. Being a US fan I only own the American vehicles. The older vehicles don't have the fine detail, but their figures were super! As anyone who reads this forum knows, I have small accuracy issues with some K&C US tanks, but I don't regret getting any of them. A few of the older ones were sold to finance the new upgraded models. The DD45 M4A3 105 howitzer is my favorite Sherman because it's the most historically accurate.

Looking forward to the next crop of US tanks from K&C.

K&C tanks are all great pieces. My particular favorite is the Ambush Panther(ws23).Though my space is limited, i dont display the tanks as single items.I place them in the context of a diorama, limited though it may be.
If i am lucky enough i have two of the same tank in an attack formation. My luck has extended to two Matilda's and two Sherman tanks.

Flying Officer Ron:

Great thread with much subsequent pondering in order! There is not one K&C Tank/Armoured Vehicle that I would not like to have in my collection. That being said I do have a few favorites (of the minute) that change as rapidly as the thinking of a woman.

I. WS23 Winter Panther.
II. WS25 Tiger.
*I love the crudeness/simplicity of these two above as the painting process seems to me like the way it would have actually been or the white wash applied in the field.
III. DD19 Chaffee (Watched Battle of the Bulge too many times as a kid).
IV. DD50 Hellcat (Simply amazing).
V. WS70 L/E Tiger (She Completes Me).

Tally Ho,
Beaufighter

Does anyone rate the T34 as a fave?.

Rob

Cheers:

I am afraid to like it as I fear that I would have to start a two-front collection!

Beaufighter

Wing Commander Beaufighter

I know its hard to get excited about things that remain on the ground. :D

However, the TANK is a wonderful thing - I love to hear them purrrrrrrrrrrrrr :p

One day I am going to get that Winter Tiger and make her mine - oh yes, she will be mine.........

Tally Ho !

Flying Officer Ron - Out!

I just added the T34 (Berlin) to my collection. Look looking tank w/riders.

The big love of my life in the TANK WORLD is the K&C LEE TANK :)

But, unfortunately I won the tank on ebay and it was shipped to me and the Tank barrel broken and so did H. Bogart Tommy Gun in the Tankers hands. I was crushed - but, the guys at Sierra refunded my money due to the shipping breakage. Great People at Sierra - One of the most honest in the business and great customer service.

All that didn't help the fact the LEE TANK never made to my collection. :(

I fear any more on Ebay will go bye bye - with the High Bidders out there.

It was the love that got away...........

The Lee wae my first K/C vehicle and is my prohibitive all time favorite. Only if a mfg. ever made an updated version, would I ever sell it to Ron.....Michael
