King & Country Dinner Chicago 2009 (1 Viewer)

Gary, Sorry to hear you won't make it to the show or the dinner this year. We'll try to make sure forum members take lots of pictures during the show and I'll bring my camera along as well.

Hi Guys,
Just to reiterate, you can purchase dinner tickets from Sierra, Troops of Time or Treefrog. Here is the link to order online via Treefrog if you prefer to order online.
There has been a little confusion on how to order the ticket via the Treefrog website.
Once you have added the ticket(s) to your cart:

1) Click 'view cart/checkout' at the top right-hand of the screen to begin the checkout process.
2) Sign into your account or create an account if you are not already signed in.
3) Enter a shipping address or choose one from the list if you are a returning customer. Be advised the tickets will be available for pickup at the show and will not need to be mailed.
4) Choose 'free shipping' as your shipping method on the next screen.
5) If you are ordering a ticket on behalf of someone else please scroll down and list the names of each guest in the 'Special Instructions' box.
6) Follow the remaining online instructions to complete the checkout process.
Our software isn't really set up for selling items that are not shipped so we had to work around that. If you do have any trouble just contact Mandi or Staci and they will assist you.
Looking forward to seeing so many new faces this year!
Best regards,

Ordered my tickets today!:D:cool: I've got a question on the dinner itself, do we pick what we our dinner or is it selected before??? Not that I'm complaining, just curious...

Vick

Ordered three tickets, for myself, my nephew and his dad.

I know this might sound a bit silly, but I have some more questions; when does the dinner start? And, are we assigned seats?

Vick

I know this is a stupid question and its probably already been asked but what time is this dinner at? My brother-in-law wants to go to the Tigers/White Soxs game but I'm afraid they overlap and I'll need to choose between the 2. If it comes down to it I think I'm gonna opt for the K&C dinner since everyone knows the Tigers will win :D

They are probably playing Saturday and Sunday too.

Sahara, there shouldn't even be a choice here. The K&C dinner is a once a year thing, you can always go to a ball game!

Part of your reasoning is correct, the K&C dinner will be great, but why would you want to drive all this way and miss the the dinner only to see the Tigers lose and fall out of first place, just think how sad and disappointed you would be.:D

As a long time devoted Tiger fan you come to learn that a winning season for the Tigers is far and few in between. So when the opportunity presents itself to go to a game and watch a decent Detroit team that has a shot at the playoffs (knock on wood) then you shouldn't pass it up :D

Gary if your Cards would have lost in the series against my Tigers a few years back then I would have had my fill :D but unfortunately they didn't even show up for the big show :(

I have to agree with you guys though I think the K&C dinner is a must since I have never been to it before. My brother-in-law is checking into tickets for Sat. and Sun. as well. I should know something by tonight.

Sahara, this years Cardinals with their recent aquisitions are the best Cardinal team since the 80,s. I had no interest early in the year but that has changed. Yes I,m fickle with them, only like a winner.
But you can,t say that about my Blues, I follow them win or lose. Just about a month away before training camp.
The Wings didn,t resign Chelios again did they? He would need to skate with a walker he is so old.

Chelios did not resign with the Wings. He came to Toronto in a non-player capacity and is working with Leaf management/coaching. But he did ask if he could play. Fortunately the Leafs have plenty of good defensemen.
