KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- August 2016 (3 Viewers)

Is it just me or does the Waffen SS Soldier (WS326) seem out of place? Sort of a loner among the dispatch collection. Don't get me wrong; I really like the figure, but maybe he's the intro figure for a few more to come.

W/O, He is actually out of uniform, mixing enlisted rank (Black shoulder boards with White Trim) with an SS Officer's round belt buckle. That being said the color pattern on his Dot44 Camo Tunic looks good !

I love the color combo. All of my Germans are traditional grey with the exception of the Engineer collection and Kriegsmarine. I would love a few of the later war camo figures (like this one).

Love the Arnhem figures! Good poses...also find the re-releases but hey ho!

Also like the Singapore themed figures!

I must confess until I looked though the latest Dispatches more closely I thought this chap was part of the Market-Garden releases. Still he will suit either Normandy, Eastern Front, or MG quite nicely!

The magnitude of creation every month is mind blowing...how they accomplish this is beyond me!

Agree I have ordered as part of MG. Robin,

I am hoping that the second LRDG jeep will come out next month, and it be right beside the third LRDG truck.

Video refresher of the Battle of Malaya and Fall of Singapore.

d) “FIGHTING GREEKS”
Going back many hundreds of years before we return to the time of Ancient Greek Warriors ... And their battles against Persians and Trojans.

AG033 “Odysseus”
A standing figure of one of Greece’s most legendary warriors and the man who thought up the idea of the “Wooden Horse of Troy” and brought an end to the ten-year long Trojan War.
Here, he stands ready to lead his men into battle ... For more information on Odysseus and how he brought an end to the Trojan War read the special feature in the latest edition of K&C’s own “COLLECTOR” magazine ... get a copy from your local dealer or see it on K&C’s own website.

I wonder if andy and K&C would consider doing some Trojans and maybe the women who launched a thousand ships. I think that would allow versatility for the greeks and some interesting names ie Hector and Paris as well. Not sure anyone has done Trojans in matte at this scale. Plus it would follow the recent trend of K&C of following movies for it content.
