KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- August 2016 (1 Viewer)

Wow really like the Market Garden, great to see K&C visiting this series again. Robin Hood & the Japanese will make this a heavy month on the finances. Robin.

WS324 “Spoils of War”
A young piglet is carried off by a Wehrmacht soldier ... Alas for the pig it is not destined to become a pet!

is the only change a difference coloured pig?

I will probably get the LRDG individual figures but pass on the Jeep(s) as I have the original ones. Hopefully we will see a Ford someday but I'm not holding my breath. I'm sure more recent collectors will be happy to see these releases. Well done Andy.

For me the "Ha-Go" first - then some of the Japanese soldiers later.... :salute::

Wow what an eclectic set of releases! Well done K&C. Although I mostly collect Napoleonics, I'm going to have a hard time resiting that LRDG jeep and the new Battle of Hong Kong figures.

Cheers,

Brendan

Very happy about the desert wall. A corner piece to connect the straight walls would truly finish off this offering.
So many uses but I will incorporate it into a Khartoum diorama.

Fantastic releases this month! I'm loving the new LRDG Rat Patrol jeep; what a nice surprise. The wall is a wonderful addition to one's desert village, and the new Arnhem pieces including the sign are excellent.

It's going to be a very expensive month for me.

Love these new German / Brit market Garden sets, very appealing. Also the Japanese look good as well !

Still no Arnhem tram but lots of goodies. The Trojan horse would likely not be something for mass production but looks great..

Exciting to read through the Dispatches early this morning! The LRDG figures are of special interest to us Kiwi's and it's fantastic to see some new releases in this range. I will most definitely be saving up for these ones and look forward to any future 'surprises'.

Also love the new Arnhem figures too. Like many I was disappointed to see the prices increases recently, but to me these guys are worth it and a welcome addition. Must also say the smoking SS dude will be a must for me.

Have been re-watching the excellant 'Pacific' series again and the 'Japanese' troops and tank are very timely too.

.....and yeeha the 'Wall' is back.

Thank you K&C.:salute::

Don't understand the pig and cheste re-release... WWII

I note the Arnhem are not (P) delineated. Does this mean they are inferior to my (P) figures?

Its good to see a re-release of a Napoleonic that I missed out on getting in 2008/9

This time he is missing his paint job .....

Maybe I'll have to get out my paintbrushes and bring him back to life ????

:) :)

You and I are just the men to do that!;)

Is it just me or does the Waffen SS Soldier (WS326) seem out of place? Sort of a loner among the dispatch collection. Don't get me wrong; I really like the figure, but maybe he's the intro figure for a few more to come.

I'm happy with this loner but if he's going to get non combatant company in future releases even better.

The Apples are green versus Red on the latest figure and the newest Soldier with Pig has gray mixed in along with differences in his helmet and facial color. {sm4}
