KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- August 2020 (1 Viewer)

Andy mate,
Outstanding batch of releases under these trying circumstances (Convid-19). Loved the ANZAC SAS and the Vespa girls. But the most pleasing releases were the Royal Marines. The CE range is becoming a great range with Royal Marines, Coldstream Guards, Life Guards and the Black Watch. Takes me back about 55 years when as a lad when basically all you could purchase from the local TS Newsagent was either Cowboys and Indians or British Ceremonials and Bands. Now starting at 72 to enjoy my second childhood.^&grin
Keep up the fantastic work. Stay safe.

Cheers from a Locked Down State Of Victoria, in the Land Down Under, Howard

Andy, Good to finally see a Wellington on foot:salute::. However Wellington and his three Generals can now take the lead on the other side of the field.

Like the Aussie SAS, but do not collect this era. Thought only the Saracens for me this month, but they are repaints of previous figures so will not bother. K & C have released a lot repainted castings over the last couple of years, I stopped buying the French Napoleonic infantry for that reason, as well as the latest Battle of the Bulge US Infantry, which were basically the DD attacking US infantry with gloves on and a bit of white paint for snow.

I know the following comment is going to be like getting a bacon sandwich out at a Bar Mitzvah, but this is a forum for opinions. I think, unless you collect the Pacific or Vietnam ranges, the last few months release from K & C have been quite poor. In comparison with the amount and ranges they used to produce and when compared with what I, once again this my opinion, think are rival TS company's such as T Gunn and J Jenkins are delivering. There is a lack of ranges, aircraft and new vehicles, with a lot of repaints.

Funny that all the positive comments were acknowledged...🙄😜

Positive...negative....Means nothing at all... Either a comment says the truth or it does not. If you think the content doesn't show the reality, then criticize the content; but if you just say" it's negative" , so what?

As, with one exception, all the comments were 'positive' I'll go with the happy guys!
Andy.

Loving the ANZAC SAS lads and those new Saracens are quite something too.:salute::

The ANZAC SAS look excellent!

The very well done camouflage will probably mean that they are quite expensive by the team we have the UK prices.

For that reason it might have been nice to have them sold as singles in order to gradually build up the collection.

Well my friend we reduced the set from 4 figures down to 2 sets of two figures...So folks with smaller budgets could still get at least 2 pieces of these great little SAS guys to begin their collection and allow them to select which duo they liked best!
Best wishes,
Andy.

Thanks Andy for thinking of us!!! ;)

I just looked at the Saracens closer...
and realized you are right...
I already own these sculpts...

I think you must be one of those Americans who confuses Austrians with Australians so your lack of knowledge is understandable.

Austrians win weight lifting competitions, become movie stars and have illegitimate children. Australians sleep with kangaroos and watch crocodile dundee every day.

"My girlfriend went shopping today and came home with some nice items for around the condo, including a nice Far East rug for the hallway and another nice Asian rug for under the coffee table."

No Persian Carpet dealers in town then !^&grin

Lot of carpets George..Is she trying to hide a body?
