KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- July 2015 (1 Viewer)

My appetite had been whetted by the 'SeeWulf' thread, - so shame not to see any Kriegsmarine..

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the very enthusiastic response to this month’s “DISPATCHES”...Also great to see my mate “WARBUFF 26’sC47 which we custom-built for Brian last year...

And yes, that C47 in our “promotion” shot is tin plate with real rubber tires...Here’s a closer look with two photo spreads from the all-new “COLLECTOR” which arrived yesterday. Hope you like ‘em.

Good dispatch with lots of nice goodies for us collectors. I thought this year's D-Day releases were kind of sparse so the U.S. para's were a peasant surprise. They look great. I especially like the non-combat poses showing troopers getting ready to board the planes. I always wanted DD-031 but missed it so these releases can make up for that. The C-47 is sublime. The Hussars look really good too, nice to know more are on the way. Even thought I don't really collect WWI and P&M that captured British tank and car look cool and the colourful P&M uniforms and facial sculpts look really top notch.
Seeing those U.S. para's boarding their ferrying aircraft makes me want to see something similar with the British para's in the Market Garden series, I think those poses (preparing to board their planes) would be a great addition to that line.
Great to see practically no retirements this month too. :salute::

Lots of excellent releases here, fave would be the WW1 Model T ford. Splendid model^&cool
