KING & COUNTRY Dispatches -- November 2015 (1 Viewer)

I said it before in the Singapore thread, nice Jerries, Jackson and GI's! I hope to have them all in my collection.

Tom

Love the Sgt. Saunders figure. It looks just like him. One thing though, his name was CHIP Saunders, not Rick. The Sink and Dye figures will also find their way to my shelves. ^&cool -- Al

Nice looking releases. Of course, I'm mostly interested in the GIs, but the whole bunch looks really nice. The Singapore surrender party looks just like the photos.

Nice to see the US gets a 90mm gun to counter those Panzers.

Coming from a little Jewish kid in the Boston area, this means a lot....

That santa is awesome and will be in my collection soon. I just completely love it!

Col. Sink will be a must add to my collection! I wonder if more of Easy Company will follow???? {sm3}

The Napoleonic gunners look great!

It looks like there is an NCO / gun det commander in the works as well (the figure that is furthest right in the picture).

Cheers,
Brendan

Great line-up this month. I really like the historic US figures (neat stories as well).

Love this set as well:

Some really nice releases here today, top for me are the US Tank destroyer and the four German troopers. These Germans will go very nicely up against Commandos or D day figures.

Rob

The Cardinal and the Comte De Rochefort are my first choice for this month.
Really liked them when seeing the samples shown in the K&C room at the Chicago Show and was hoping to see them rather sooner than later :wink2: ^&grin

Closely following are the PnM mounted Officer and the standing Ironside trooper.

And that will do it until December :wink2:

Happy Collecting!

Brendan,

I think the far right figure could be an NCO, but he has long white gloves, so obviously he's not going to do any DIRTY WORK {eek3}

I see that he has red epaulettes, not gold, like the officer beside him, but I can't observe his stripes to make him a Senior NCO who can direct this detachment.
He also is carrying a sword, and is wearing spurs, so more confusing so could he be Horse Artillery of the Line ?????

Those 2 figures seem to be observing the 'fall of shot'.

We can only wait in hope for next month's DISPATCHES ^&confuse

John

JN015 "Japanese Infantryman"

The first of an upcoming series of regular Japanese Army infantry...marching with his Arisaka rifle on the shoulder. Based on an actual photograph this soldier is extremely casual in his dress...even by Japanese standards!

I could not see this soldier in the surrender of Singapore footage or photos ^&confuse Or is "he" in other photos - GOOGLE can't find such a soldier marching in Tees {sm2}

I don't think the picture is suppose to base on fact,just the single figure.

Better to display the Japanese soldier here than with say........ D-Day G.I.'s ! Not meant to represent the "Surrender Set"

Quiet dispatch for me. The pick of the lot is the M36, nice looking piece. Like the Japanese additions and am excited about the future development/releases to come from it. My WWII collection is overwhelmingly European theatre so these Pacific releases are of great interest. ^&cool
