Here is a Winter Dio I put together a few months ago before I left on deployment. Just got back to post some photos.

Really nice diorama, Panzer, thoses trees look perfect. Great pictures too. K&C Winter Tiger + HB Winter Panther = unbeatable combination!:D Thanks for the pics.

Very nice diorama. I agree. I particularly like your detail with the footsteps, having them concentrated around the camp area.

That is a really nice dio you put together! I really like the winter stuff and you have depicted a very nice scene that tells a good story. Not too cluttered but just right.

Nice one panzer,

Qu: can you clean the bases after you hid them? What did you hide the bases with?

Excellent work. Best wishes

Kevin

Panzer,

Excellent diorama! The scene is rich in detail and story, yet not overdone. My highest compliments!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Wow! Great diorama. Your attention to landscape details always surprises me.

What a terrific, terrific display; have to love the winter vehicles and figures, they are just superb.

Having the two tanks side by side raises an interesting question; the K & C Tiger is very white, while the HB Panther is much darker. From a true camo perspective, I am curious as to which is more accurate. Ok all you experts, give me your .02 on this one.......

Terrific work Rick.

George, the white camo concentrate was mixed with a variety of liquids such as water, fuel, oil etc then applied in the field, and it soon wore off from the weather and use. Therefore any shade of white would be accurate.

Oz,
Thanks for the reply. So it was basically like the camo, it was up to the crew themselves as to how light or dark the whitewash was correct? I thought that was the case, but wasn't 100% sure as whitewash was done in the field by the crew at times under extreme conditions I am sure............
