No, he will need to build either the Kaga, Soryu or Hiryu as well! ^&grin

Tom

Gee ... you guys have me building the Hornet; the Enterprise and NOW the Kaga, Soryu and Hiryu. ...:rolleyes2:
I don't think that there is enough wood in all the Maine forests to cover all of them.

But wouldn't t be fun to try!{sm4}

If I might offer a suggestion, you don't need to build so many carriers for the Zeroes. Just build one, the Shinano. It was the largest of all Japanese carriers built. Pay no mind to the fact it was sunk on it's first voyage (by a USN sub). It should be much easier to build the one large carrier than several smaller ones, and the Maine forests will thank you. :wink2: -- Al

Found a nice diorama of a section of a Japanese carrier deck:

Seems like a lot of folks want to locate the action near the island/superstructure. That makes sense, but it's a little bit harder to render than the deck alone. The deck can be as easy as printing out a JPG file. KC's JN figure sets would look awesome on a setup like this.:D

Hello Moe .... Thank You ... very nice model and a wonderful reference. I am trying to make mine as detailed as this. Progress is a bit slow during the summer but it is picking up now. The bridge section is a tough one but this will help tremendously.

I just followed the link and saw all the additional photos. They are very nice and (once again) will prove very helpful.
