King & Country Museum Under Construction (1 Viewer)

Louis,

No thanks are necessary and I actually didn't play that big a part, except maybe carry those boxes up the stairs! :eek: I actually should thank you because I benefited from getting to know Meredith a tiny bit and got to see Alec in action :) , as well as see this project develop from the ground floor up to where it is today.

Just thought I would pull this up so the new guys could follow the construction of the museum . . .:D

Very nice. Love the dios you have Louis now I am really anxious to see your meusem.:D

I stumbled across this old thread and just had to pull it up . . . so many great memories. I genuinely look forward to Chicago in September and the Symposium every year so I can see you guys from all over the globe. :smile2: Oh, and the collection has grown by leaps and bounds, so anybody who wants to drop by and see it as presently constituted, just PM or e-mail me, it would be my pleasure . . . :wink2:

Louis mate,
I would love to visit again.:smile2: Best TS weekend (2010 NY Symposium) I ever had. Are you paying airfares from the Land of OZ cobber.^&grin^&grin
Recommend to everyone a trip to Louis' attic.
Cheers Howard:salute::

I make Howard's words and recommendation mine too. Climbing those stairs and walking into the attic felt exactly how being 10 and visiting Disneyworld for the first time! Will never forget...
Louis is also one of the finest hosts I know.

For you I'd use my miles and get you a ticket . . . :wink2:

Carlos,

You know you are welcome anytime!:smile2:

Dear Louis,

I know that your next symposium, in 2013, is scheduled for London, but please put me on the list for your 2014 symposium in New York. I would love to see larry's and your collections. I would view this as the east coast equivalent of seeing Bob Walker's collection on the west coast. In other words, a must see event for any toy soldier affectionato. Hey, I bet Bob would like to see them, too.

Mike, my friend, you are welcome anytime. If you plan to come to New York for any reason, just let me know, and I will make arrangements for you to see my collection, Larry's, Rich Schuster's and Mark Hoffman's. That of course goes for Bob Walker as well. It would be an honor to show both you very kind and hospitable gentlemen a little of our hospitality for a change.

And I will get out to the west coaster and Bob's open house one of these days . . . :smile2:
