These items are labeled/titled as K&C prototypes. I do not see them listed anywhere, including the prototype section on Sager's site. What do you all think?

I own both sets. I don't believe they are prototypes. Check page 132 in Louis's Book.

There are four or more sets on eBay at the moment. Since I don't own that great book yet, can you tell me what they possibly might be?
K&C AWI is my main interest, and they caught my eye, but I have never heard of that type of prototype being released before.
Thank ecuriel.

From the book, " The four original American Revolutionary War sets were U.S. Marines USM1, 1st New York Regiment NYR1, the Royal Welsh Fusiliers RWF1 and the 20th Regiment of Foot BLI1.

There were two basic sculptings, a marching soldier in a similar pose to the Napoleonic British Grenadier Marching and a marching drummer.

These figures, although not as well sculpted as some of the Napoleonics, have the advantage of being painted originally in matt (with washes for extra details) and later coated with gloss."

I'd love to have an opportunity to acquire some of those K & C pirate prototypes that were shown awhile back in an issue of Collector. They were some fantastic looking figures.
