I have this picture in one of the books I have about Tigers. Not sure which one without having a look through them but, its not a one off there are a few more similar to this published and floating around the many internet sites.

I cannot remember what the caption was as to what unit and where they were going but, will have a look through the books this weekend. Do the market Konigstigers fit on the Figarti flatbeds as I have not seen how big they are????

You should take a look at the Missing Lynx web site. Under discusion groups they have an Axis thread. Also some of the best model tanks you'll see under the constructive coments thread.

Good link Martin, thanks.

I found the answer to my question there.

Mitch, the pictures are in the book "Tiger in Combat" Vol.1

I have this volume myself and will look them up.

I'm still trying to find the true specs on the Reichbaun flatcars. Figarti's release so far, is the single axle type flatcar so they won't go with the Panthers or Tigers so I couldn't say if the market Tigers fit.

Rick is suppose to release a twin axle flatcar for the Panther sometime soon, I hope.

Tigers were transported on the 6 axle Ssyms 80 tonne flatcar. Panthers could use the 4 axle Ssys 50 tonne flatcar. The lighter vehicles could use the 2 axle flatcars.
