Mike, this might help:
"To block or allow all cookies
1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools button , and then click Internet options.
3. Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, and then click OK.
Blocking cookies might prevent some webpages from displaying correctly."
I pulled that off Microsoft's site, after I went looking for it myself under Tools>Internet Options. I was looking on the Advanced tab, though, not Privacy. They keep moving things around from one release to the next.

Thanks Brad for your help. I followed your instructions and found that I was on "medium" re cookies; I changed it to "low." I hope that this will help. I am hesitant to allow all cookies, which is the next level, given the description of what that entails.
