STOP!
Allied Intelligence just recovered secret plans to an Atlantic Wall Defensive!
The Kriegsmarine base features a King & Country Type 127 U-Boot, aka 'Seehund'. There appears to be plans for the construction of a fortified TGM Bunker with Admiral Karl Dönitz in close proximity.

A British Commando Unit with orders to destroy the secret U-Boot Base has been deployed; but will they do so before the TGM Bunker is constructed...{sm2}

Rob,
Really nice set up. Everything goes well together. An interesting part of WWII. Always look forward to your post.

Thanks much, Steve. I happened to measure the open space to the right of the jetty and it's just about 10". The new TGM Bunker is 9.25" long which should fit just perfectly. In fact, it may even hold the Atlantic Gun base on top. If not, I have a smaller gun in mind. The height, although not provided by TGM's official description, should be pretty close to the height of the jetty adding a nice continuing level platform. Interestingly, the new bunker is 6" wide, close to the same width of the jetty.

Very good mate a lot going on.
Hi Wayne, thanks. It took me a long time to find each retired piece among the K&C Kriegsmarine collection, several years in fact. I take pride in this particular diorama and I had collected during a difficult time (but that's another story). A few (4 to be exact) TGM figures are among the collection. The furniture has been delivered and is awaiting the new bunker.

While I'm sure many collectors will be creating scenes with the new TGM sitting German officers, my bunker will feature Karl Dönitz and Kriegsmarine figures. Perhaps Rommel may be stopping in for a brief visit as well. I think this will be a unique variation to the bunker as originally intended.

Here it is in color; the vintage picture was a sneak peek adding to the backstory:

Hi Guys, Happy New Year!

The "Secret Plans" have came to fruition with the new TGM Bunker. Here it is pictured with my Kriegsmarine collection:

Added the "Big Gun" just for fun, but I had planned to place a 20mm Flak Gun on top:

It's a nice versatile piece which I think can be used in a number of WW2 settings.

Fits in well with your set up there Rob.

Looking very nice, Rob. Fits in rather well with yor existing Dio.
The design of the bunker offers a flexible usage on many instances.

I wonder ... :rolleyes2: … how it would fit, in a WWII PACIFIC Island diorama?
I know that the Japanese built a concrete bunker on TARAWA (and many other islands) as well as coconut logs bunkers.

Here is just one link on Google that shows very similar structures.

Check out the one built on Peleliu. WOW {sm3} I can recreate that scene where USMC Sledge "hears voices in the bunker in the series .. THE PACIFIC!!!

Appreciate the feedback Fellas.

Nicely fitted out Rob, good looking structure too. Robin.
Thanks Robin; this is a good structure by TGM. Nice overall design.

Looks great mate
Thanks Wayne

Fits in well with your set up there Rob.
Thanks Steve; I was surprised as to how well it compared in size to K&C's Jetty. I doubt it was intentional, but the height is perfect.

Thanks Larry. Aside from the German poster inside, I think it would work.
