Kronprinz - a real alternative to the big names (2 Viewers)

Hallo guys ,
A few more pictures . IMO And I know my friend Emilio will not mind when I say it FL are currenty making the best Napoleonic figures in the world , and to be compared to them is a comparison he loves to hear . I think they work well together both size wise and artistically . KP are IMO one of the best Values for Money on the market today that's why I'm buying them. You can not beat them for the price , and there are several manufactures who are far behind him in terms of both sculpting and painting IMO . I think what my friend Emilio is doing is incredible , to sculpt all the figures and to paint them he is just amazing {bravo}} yes I know he has some help with the painting :wink2: . This will be IMO one of the fastest growing companies around and its well deserved . Emilio my friend could you please make some Prussian Landwehr figures I will be the first to order one of each ^&grin Regards Gebhard

Hallo Guys ,
There have been several guys who have ask me if KP & FL look good together since I'm probably the only collector on TF that owns both I took a few shots so other collectors can make an informed opinion . I would first say that the KP drummer is a little bit bigger then the rest of thier Lutzowers . Regards Gebhard

Gebhard, Here are a few pictures of mine. Unfortunately my photography is not as good as yours. I have my KC painted Del Prado Blucher and a few others leading my Lutzow's here!! I am very happy with these. I will be completing the group and going after more lines.

With this I can finally imagine my Battle of Ligny Display.

Take care,

Ludwig

Hello Gebhard
I have no words to show you our gratitude for your words. Now i am finishing four Wehrmacht officers and more or less sixteen soldiers of the Tercio de Cartagena in the battle of Rocroi , for our new range "thirty Years War". But when this figures will be finished , i have on my table the basis of a german landwehr unit , A mounted figure of Blucher , the mounted figure of Theodor Koerner , and Russians grenadiers at Austerlitz.
I hope that in a month all of them will be ready..
best regards

Emilio

Hallo Ludwig ,
Thanks for taking the time to share your pictures {bravo}} it is a bit hard to see any of the nice detail at that distance . I really like your Saxon and Bavarian Guard Helms and is that a Prussian Cuirassier or Mounted Jägers helm on the left ? I think the later but its hard to see... All are very nice .. Regards Gebhard

Thank you for your kind words and your great pics.:) I apologize for mine. I sometimes just cannot get the flash right. Anyway these are some great soldiers are they not? I am glad to have gone after these. You are right the last one is a Jäger helm.

Thank you and keep in touch over Kronprinz.

How can we make Kronprinz a forum line of it's own and get it out of Miscellaneous?

Enjoy,

Ludwig

Emilio, for a one-man company and the amount of great figures you release I really start to wonder:

Do you ever sleep?

Looking forward for all the new ranges and more Hessians.

Thanks a lot

You are right Gebhard, Emilio is really a nice person who is doing a really good job : Kronprinz are amazing figures compared to other manufacturers whose figures are more expensive. i'm glad to know there will be soon russian napoleonic figures. I can't believe Emilio is doing all that on his own (or almost). regards. sébastien

Such nice figures, thanks a million for posting the wonderful photos.

The "Thirty Years War" is very exciting to me. The "pike and musket" period is generally overlooked by TS makers (maybe with the exception of the ECW) and should be well received by European collectors. Hopefully some cavalry and artillery in the future.

E$sta figura pertenece al catalogo de "el viejo dragon" y se vende sin pintar en forma de kit, desgraciadamente su tamaño es mas pequeño que las que realizo ahora para Kronprinz550830_333679303375568_1171002462_n.jpg

Wonderful painting...i greatly admire the work of the spanish painters..through the page of the magazine Desperta Ferro i started to know a new generation of spanish artists that has nothing to envy the Osprey artists or the american artists as Don Troiani and Keith Rocco..in a previous post i wrote that i'd like to see some Po Tiralleurs..i meant Corsican Tirailleurs..:)their uniform was quite distinctive..and also i'd love to see the Black Brunswickers with their peculiar backpack..a horse was painted on it!:)Very happy to see a range about Austerlitz..Waterloo was over represented..so i presume there will be some Austrian ..love the Grenzer troops!!!:)
