Honestly, I don't know any locals who say 'cricket' in any sense other than the little black bug, but I think it is such an excellent way to explain 'honorable, fair, above board, sporting etc.' that I felt compelled to borrow it.
I spend enough time with the lot of you (another English phrase vs. 'you guys'!)that I do feel comfortable throwing in a good old Queen's English phrase every now and again.
Must be from attending London shows...or talking with the Nevilles...or watching Wallace & Grommit and Fawlty Towers. Who knows, but thanks for sharing your verbiage
