Hi Guys,

Here's a small dio Gordon has prepared for the upcoming "Texas Show" (May 27 / 28, 2017) ... It features a few new and recent releases together with some older, long-retired ones.

The Church building I did a couple of years back... painting and landscaping by young Gordon.

I'm also going to 'post' a few other views with other figures... and later other figures in different historical periods.

Best wishes, happy collecting and pleasant viewing!
Andy

Love churches, they span many era's and series of figures. I see the nun has made another appearance, very appropriate for this fantastic structure. Compliments to Andy and Gordon for their combined effort.:salute::, Robin.

Very cool Andy, really like the detail and weathered colours used on the church. Also great seeing civilians and soldiers being used together to create an interesting scene.

Awesome church Andy and i'll see it in person next month which may be a bad thing as i'll most likely want to buy it!!!!

A Church model like this would be a terrific selling piece.....albeit on the large size it could be done in two pieces.

Much as I would love to produce this church in volume ...It simply is not feasible because of the size and shipping costs...especially international freight charges! Shipping companies charge you/us either by the weight or the bulk dimensions...Whichever is greater.
Also many collectors complain that they are already running out of space...Even though they might like one...Their Missus would divorce them if they moved one of these religious relics into the family homestead...Of course you could get rid of the wife first!!!
Happy collecting, Andy.

Great looking scene Andy/Gordon. Love the church and love those Airborne troops!

What a fantastic dio with a fantastic scene! Feeling envy of those who will get to see it in person at the Texas Show...^&grin:wink2:

Another excellent scene and demonstration of Gordon's superb modelling skills

Rob

As in everything that You and Gordon produce, simply fantastic.:salute::

If I had only 10% of Gordon's talent then it would be 100% more than I have now. :p

Cool dio.. Have you considered having the Church made in foam to sell? Hope the Paras have something to take out the German armor.

Actually 'Bobby' we did consider 'foam' however although definitely lighter you would still get caught by the models dimensions as far as shipping costs go...
Taking out the German Armour should be no problem...I am sure one of those Airborne guys has a 'Sticky Bomb' somewhere in his backpack!!!
Happy collecting and Thankyou Guys for your kind and appreciative comments,
Best wishes and happy collecting, Andy & Gordon.

Fantastic dio Andy. Compliments to the both of you.
