Latest Warbirds (1 Viewer)

Noli,

It's the weekend over there. Please give them a chance until the opening of business :)

These are now listed on the website, which they have updated. It shows a Mosquito still available, in addition to a Henschel, Hellcat and Swordfish. The price for each of the above new planes is $795 each.

When I returned home on Friday from a week of flying I was greeted with a rather large box from K&C. My dh98 Mosquito (#15/15) had landed in the Southwest Sector at my aerodrome...RAF Beaufighter! Despite my call sign of "Beaufighter", the dh98 Mosquito is my favorite kite closely followed by the Beau. I saved up for this beauty and am so very impressed with my piece of art! I had purchased a one one of a kind K&C Mosquito about a year ago and was happy with her but was more pleased with the improvements to the production Mossie. In short, mission accomplished & job well done in every aspect from customer service, secure shipping & actual design/finish. Bravo and thank you K&C.

Tally Ho,
Marc

How about a few pictures of it on the airfield!

Always great to find a package or two waiting for you!:D

Has anyone notice the RAF GUY in the K&C Pictures ! Is that going to be a new release ??

I have the WWII American Pilot - but the guy on his knees with a tool box - I have never seen before

Which pictures do you mean Ron?

If its this set, RAFGC its old and long out of production!

It can still be found, as I picked it up out of Hong Kong eariler this year!

This appears to be a different figure. There is also a toolbox attached to the right side of his leg and not in the original glossy figure. I know there are sets coming so maybe this was a teaser.

Ronn!

Looks like you have spotted something there!:D

A little sneak preview perhaps!:D

That's all I need.....new figures for the Warbirds. I have been tempted before but this may push it over the top.....

Hi Guys,

Here are a few pictures of our latest Warbird, the P-51 Mustang ‘Polish Squadron’. This particular aircraft was flown by Squadron leader Eugeniusz "Dziubek" Horbaczewski, O/C of No. 315 Squadron based from Coolham, England in June of 1944. Horbaczewski won several battle honours during the campaign of France but was shot down and killed in August 1944 during an aerial battle with a Focke-Wulf 190.

This aircraft will be available for purchase on the King & Country website shortly.
Price: $795

Happy Collecting!

That was quite a battle actually. It took place near Beauvais, France on the 18th of August with 12 Mustangs of No 315 engaging 60 German fighters of JG2 & JG26. The Poles were officially credited with 16 victories, one probable, and three damaged for the loss of one pilot, Squadron Leader Horbaczewski. Horbaczewski shot down three Focke-Wulfs in the battle but turned up missing durning the return flight. No one saw what happened to him but his crashed Mustang with his body was found near Valennes in 1947 and it is presumed he was shot down during the fight.

Beautiful paint job and great choice of aircraft. Personally, I always preferred the look of the Mustang III to the IV.

I`ve been a regular collector of the Warbirds since K&C started offering them again, but I just received the Eagle Squadron Hurricaine,I love it, but also included was the Swordfish Fairey, and Gentleman I `ve got to admit it`s SPECTACULAR. to My eye one of the best ever done.

New Warbird!

Today i received the much anticipated Ju87 Stuka(north African version).
I thought that it would be a terrific model but i cannot rave enough about the detail, the workmanship and the superb camouflage pattern!
KUDO'S to Andy.He continues to produce the kind of model seen at the Smithsonian or other Air and Space Museums.
The model really conjures the frightful image of a Stuka attack.
I am sorry i dont possess the skills to post a photograph, but i am sure they will soon be forthcoming.
Incidently, the plane makes a great diorama with figures from WS016,figures from the Tunisian Tiger and i am sure with any Luftwaffe figures.
My many thanks again to Andy for providing me with an early number in this
outstanding production

Re: New Warbird!

Sounds wonderful Harvey. I'll have to come over and check them out. As Ron might say, they're not in the defense budget for the foreseeable future :(

Re: New Warbird!

I don't get it H. How can you put a post like that up without loads of images showing all the detail???

That's just cruel!

Re: New Warbird!

Harvey has forwarded me a few pictures and the Stuka does indeed look awesome. Congrats Harvey :)
