I have been really bad about not taking pictures lately...I just got the new JJD canoe set and wanted to set up a little scene...I threw in a couple of his other canoe sets and broke the camera out...I'm a little out of practice on my photography...but these came out okay...

I didn't think we would see another canoe set from JJ but it is a very nice one. Pictures are very good Michael.

Very cool Mike. You must grab the new sets right off the boat from China. It's only March 2. ^&grin btw: how securely do those figures hold the canoe?

Outstanding Sir Michael

thank you Doug...Randy must really get his stuff quick...he posted the new Sudan sailors a couple of days before I got my sets...the canoe seems stable...suitable for a shelf dio that might get bumped a bit...

Very cool Michael and good to see that river again.

thank you Scott...the good thing about a garage full of dead dioramas...just grab one and plug the figures in...

Outstanding Sir Michael

Great to see you back taking pictures--you've been missed.

This has to be one of the best dios you have ever done and the photos are superb. If I had the funds and the space I would collect John's Indians which I am sure you will agree are the best on the market.

Randy

Mike,

Thats one nice diorama! Great ground cover and sweet water detail. I like the reflection of the canoes in the water. Where did you get that or did you make it?

I like those indians; they are the best. Still waiting for my canoe set, which should be arriving any day now. I most likely will weather mine as I have done to my other earlier canoe sets that you show.

I really like the desity of the ground cover...exactly as I would expect to see it near a forest stream. I have the new JJ canoe set on the top of my next order list. A really fine piece, with lots of vignette set up potential as you have proven.

great great great pictures Mike!!! I like the way you realized the river bed and greenery around, the reflection of canoe is awesome. I'm still waiting my new canoe too, nice addition to any display.

I should be so "out of practice" with my photography. Very, very nicely done scenario Michael, and you photographed it exceptionally well. Enjoyed every one of your photos. Thanks for sharing them with us . . .
